Refund policy

As a valued BODILE customer, we hope that you love your purchase as much as we do.  We understand that online purchasing can occasionally lead to a desire to return an item(s), so please read the following:

We are happy to offer returns on purchases for any reason, provided you contact us within 60 days of dispatch of your order, and the following conditions are met:

  • The item is received by us in its original condition, with all tags and seals still attached, and the item(s) is unworn. We understand you may wish to try the items on before deciding, but you must wear undergarments when doing so.
  • You must provide proof of purchase inside your return, i.e., order number.
  • The item(s) must be sent/delivered to BODILE, at the customer’s cost:

  • The item(s) must be received by BODILE within 10 business days (for Australian customers) and 30 business days (for international customers) of the notification email of your intention to return or exchange an item(s) or application via our Return Portal. Please contact shop@bodile.com in the event of delay.

  • Please include a tracking number in your email so as to keep on file regarding your return.
  • Gift cards and undergarments cannot be returned.

  • Returns can be exchanged to a gift card of the value of the original purchase price, not including additional costs such as shipping or order protection.
  • For refunds to original payment method, any gifts and/or washbag must be included in your return. In the event that they are not included, BODILE has the right to deduct the retail value of the gift item from your final return amount.

  • Exchanges must be purchased by the customer using their issued gift card. Please contact BODILE directly at shop@bodile.com for any assistance.

  • A 10% restocking fee will be taken from all cash/card refund returns for change of mind. Please contact BODILE for more information about refunds.
  • If the return shipment is over $1000 (AUD) a $90.00 (AUD) fee will be subtracted from your refund amount to cover the Australian Import Processing charges incurred by BODILE.

Sale items:

  • Please note that for sale items, returns will not be offered for change of mind.
  • In the event of a manufacturing error or incorrect item being sent on your sale item, please contact BODILE directly at shop@bodile.com. Sale items may only be returned if found to be faulty or if an incorrect item was received.

Limited Edition and Out of Stock items:

  • Please note that for Limited Edition styles and low stock/Out of Stock items, exchange will be subject to stock availability so alternative styles may need to be offered. In the event of change of mind (e.g incorrect fit), we recommend purchasing your exchanged item to ensure stock availability.
  • In the event of purchasing an exchanged item, please contact shop@bodile.com. A full card refund for your original item can be offered, after it has been processed for return.
  • If an exchange is not possible due to stock availability, BODILE will provide you with a Gift Card which is valid for 3 years. 
  • Many BODILE products will be restocked. If you are interested in an out of stock product, please contact shop@bodile.com to enquire about pre-ordering the item if it is due for a restock.

Incorrect items:

If you receive an item(s) that you did not order, please contact BODILE at shop@bodile.com and we will guide you through the process to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If you have purchased order protection, we recommend creating a claim as soon as possible. Claims can be created within 45 days of dispatch. To create a claim, please go to the order protection website - https://claims.orderprotection.com/submitClaim. You must use your full order number (BODILE#####) and email address used to place the order. You can either request a refund for the item, or you can request the correct item be resent to you.

If order protection is not purchased, please contact shop@bodile.com for the next steps.

Quality Guarantee

Be assured that we take great care to ensure that every item is true to the beautiful quality that you expect from BODILE.

If you receive an item(s) with a defect, please contact BODILE at shop@bodile.com within 60 days of dispatching your order. We will guide you through the process to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please read the following:

  • A description and one or two photos showing the issue is needed for us to access the problem.
  • A fault will only be determined by BODILE, based in Perth, Western Australia, so this will require the item(s) to be sent here to be assessed. This must be covered by the customer until the item has been assessed in person.
  • If BODILE determines the alleged defect is a genuine fault, then a remedy will be provided at BODILE’s discretion in line with consumer statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law (i.e. repair, replacement or refund).
  • Items damaged as a result of wear and tear or incorrect garment care are not considered to be faulty.
  • If a garment is assessed and considered ineligible for a refund, it will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

In the event that the garment cannot be returned for assessment, a gift card will be offered as compensation. The gift card value is determined based on the severity of the fault and is at BODILE’s discretion.

CARD REFUND PROCESSING TIME

  • If BODILE accepts to provide a customer with a cash refund for a faulty product, your refund will be processed within 15 business days of receiving such instructions. Please contact shop@bodile.com in the event that you have not yet received your cash refund.
  • Full refunds for change of mind will only be given at BODILE's discretion. BODILE has the right to refuse a full refund for change of mind.
  • BODILE will communicate any refund information to the customer via the email provided in the original transaction.
  • Refunds will be in the currency originally purchased in and can only be made to the original payment method used. Refunds cannot be higher than the order total.
