BODY + ODILE

BODILE the name, is a blend of the words BODY & the siren of Swan Lake, ODILE

She is confident, refined & elegant.

Athletic, ambitious & flirtatious.

Enchanting & enduring.

IN THE BEGINNING...

BODILE was launched in February 2021 after intensive development for two years. The BODILE Concept draws on founder Rebecca Morrice Williams’ lifelong involvement with ballet & her incredible success with BECCA Cosmetics, acquired by Esteé Lauder in 2016.

BODILE Collections present complete ballet-fashion stories, with limited-edition, ready-to-wear designs released weekly - offering dancers exclusive pieces you won’t find in commercial dancewear stores

FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

Since its launch, BODILE has achieved remarkable success. Operating from a design studio headquarters situated in Perth, Western Australia, the brand has garnered global recognition. It serves professional ballet dancers, elite students in training, and recreational dancers worldwide.

Coveted by both prima ballerinas and beginners, BODILE is worn for ballet classes, rehearsals, stage performances, and photoshoots. It has established itself as a market leader in luxurious, fashion-forward dancewear.

INSPIRATIONAL

BODILE believes that the daily class and rehearsal are just as beautiful as the polished performance - and that a dancer’s studio style can be just as exciting and expressive as their stage costumes.

REFINED

Created to offer a refined range of dancewear that enhances performance, inspires confidence, and brings beauty and style to the studio every day.

SOPHISTICATED

BODILE seamlessly fuses premium performance fabrics with signature detailing and elegantly sculpted silhouettes, offering an elevated experience of unparalleled support and comfort.

BODILE FOUNDER

Rebecca Morrice Williams, the founder and creator of the highly successful cosmetics brand BECCA (which was acquired by Estee Lauder in 2016), is also the visionary behind BODILE. Her love for beauty began in childhood, sparked by the elegance of ballet. She spent hours watching rehearsals and performances at the West Australian Ballet, where her father served as Chairman of the Board and her mother managed PR. This experience fueled her passion for beauty, from the costumes to the movement and the grace of the art form.

Ballet has influenced every step of Rebecca's journey - first as a fashion designer with her own high-end couture line, and later as the creator of BECCA. With her deep passion for dance, combined with her own experience, which she continues to share with her daughter, Rebecca felt a powerful calling to create a brand of elegant and supportive dancewear, crafted from luxurious fabrics.
